Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF)
|
UMYF stands for United Methodist
Youth Fellowship. Those youth in 6th through 8th grades are invited to
attend the Junior High activities starting September 18th, 2011; while those
youth in 9th through 12th grades are invited to attend the Senior High
activities starting September 11th. UMYF typically meets Sunday evenings
from 6:30 -8:00 pm. |
The United Methodist part of UMYF acronym simply means that most of the activities are held at or organized by the United Methodist Church. It certainly does not mean that only youth from the United Methodist church can participate. We want to encourage all of the youth in our community to join in on this time of fun, fellowship, friendship, and service; all while having a focus on growing closer to God. So, be sure to invite a friend or two to UMYF with you! We are looking forward to a great year! |
