About Us

Frankenmuth United Methodist Church began in the early 1960s when a small group of Methodists started gathering in homes, sensing a need for a Methodist presence in the community. In 1962, 68 charter members officially came together
to form the church.

From the beginning, the church has been marked by a spirit of unity and service—sharing space with other congregations, supporting those in need, and partnering with local churches to make a difference.

That same heart continues today as we serve our community, grow in faith, and help people take their next step with Jesus.

Whether you’re new to church or have been attending for years, there’s a place for you here.

Our Mission

Come: We invite people to Jesus and create space for them to encounter Him and belong, grounded in
Matthew 11:28 and Luke 14:23.

Grow: Growth is transformation into active discipleship in Christ,
rooted in Ephesians 4:15.

Serve: We faithfully participate in ministry through our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness, based on Mark 10:45
and Galatians 5:13.

We Believe

We believe in the life-changing love of God revealed through Jesus Christ—His life, death, and resurrection.

We believe God is one, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe the Bible is God’s Word and guides how we live and grow in faith.

We believe God’s kingdom is at work in our world today and will be fully realized in the future.

We believe the church is called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, serving others and sharing His love.
